When writing a word document you want one page landscape and the rest portrait. How do you do this?
You need to do whats called a section break, this is different to a page break.
Once you have a section break you are then able to change the Orientation of the page.

There are a lot of docx files on my computer. But yesterday happened an unpleasant thing. Many docx files were damaged, because of my computer had been attacked an unknown virus. I found seeking the determination of this trouble. And I was successful...I found on a soft blog - how fix corrupted doc file. It determined my issue very rapidly and performed it free of charge as I bore in mind.

ReplyDeleteHi There,
ReplyDeleteJust wondering if I was to make a page in the middle landscape, and the rest portrait, would I do the same thing? It worked initially, but then it messed up my page numbers. Not sure if it was because I was using a template. Any ideas on what I could do?
Thanks in advance!
Great Info you rock dude!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this great advice! It's so easy once you know hpw to do it, but wneh you don't know it's actually really tricky.
We've made a video tutorial (only 1 minut) showing you how to insert one single page in landscape mode. Please check it out! Hope you'll like it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDddtqHAt3E
Thanks mate, you helped me solve a problem very easily!
ReplyDeletesucks its an easier way to do it
ReplyDeletePerfect, was messing around with the usual page breaks and could not get it to work for one page only. Now that I applied the steps - as in this post - it works like a charm!

ReplyDeleteVery nice. But one thing I noticed, my page numbering got messed up when I did this, the pages after the now landscape page started over counting from one again. Maybe my footer was messed up...
ReplyDeleteI found that too, but just realised that if you go into the footer and then choose "Page number" from the ribbon bar, you can get it to continue numbering from the previous section.
DeleteI forgot to add, you need to choose "Format page numbers" under the "Page number" ribbon bar icon to be able to change that.
DeleteThanks, that has reminded me how to fix the page numbers which has been a real deal breaker for me for the past few years. Now I realize that I have been told how to do it, I just forgot. Thanks for letting me know how to made Microsoft Word have a single page be landscape and the rest be portrait, and still have correct page numbers.
