If this is so, CCR is not suitable for many companies, I think.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3920347219421157797.post-87922603676186147232011-12-07T02:25:21.016-08:002011-12-07T02:25:21.016-08:00CCR only supports 2 nodes, the active and the pass...CCR only supports 2 nodes, the active and the passive. This is a big job... what I would do is migrate to exchange 2010 instead. They have a new feature called DAGs (Database Availability Groups), heaps better then CCR!

See:
http://clintboessen.blogspot.com/2009/08/exchange-2010-database-mobility.htmlClint Boessenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11156487394562821934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3920347219421157797.post-72231395073833128722010-04-20T08:33:35.032-07:002010-04-20T08:33:35.032-07:00Hello Clint Boessen,
Thanks for your great post, ...Hello Clint Boessen,

Thanks for your great post, we are ordering a new SAN storage and I'm thinking to enhance our exchange setup by moving from SCC to CCR with mix arcticture between Physical and Virtual Nodes.

Can you please provide me the sets to move from SCC Cluster to CCR cluster?

Thanks,
habibalbyhabibalbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05951426357108468057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3920347219421157797.post-52249223557055525572010-04-02T20:29:03.508-07:002010-04-02T20:29:03.508-07:00There is no way to convert a SCC cluster into a CC...There is no way to convert a SCC cluster into a CCR cluster. You setup exchange in the clustered mode during the installation. Only in Exchange 2010 can you convert a non clustered mailbox server into a clustered mailbox server.

What you need to do Maryam is provision two new servers and set them up as a CCR cluster, migrate the mailboxes into the new cluster. You can then format and repurpose the SCC cluster machines.Clint Boessenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11156487394562821934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3920347219421157797.post-56159034259307422262010-03-28T11:06:13.938-07:002010-03-28T11:06:13.938-07:00What if we have SCC and we want to implement CCR w...What if we have SCC and we want to implement CCR within the same hardware ??
